Looking to install a fuel cell need advice

looking to install a fuel cell here and get it out from under my truck now the one i get is all i need is a sending unit with it new to the fuel cell game. Im a noob as gas ****. Sorry to the guy i took this pic from im planning on doing this on my truck

Why put it in your bed? Perfectly fine to put it where the OEM gas tank is. From where it sits, if you are gonna hit it, you are gonna have bigger problems than leaking fuel if anything gets up that high, plus with a fuel cell, the inner bladder will give you that last layer of protection anyways. Keeping it underneath keeps your center of gravity lower as well as leaving you a little more useable box space.

Anyway, what are you looking to find out? Most sending units that I have seen on fuel cells are easy to integrate into the ford electronics. There is just adjustment to the resistance and full and empty. Pumps.... I would just get an OEM pump (not the whole assembly, just the pump), and set the fuel cell up like that.
