Fuel Filter Replacement

Does any one know how to get the filter off of A 92 Explorer,it has the quick connect lines on it with steel braided lines,the manual shows little windows in the connector to press down the retaining clip that holds the filter to release it from the line,mine has no windows in it,its just ons solid piece
any help would be greatly appreciatted.

You'll need to go to the auto parts store and get a fuel filter line release kit. It comes with these plastic sleeves that slides on to the fuel line and spreads the clips so you can remove the line from the filter. I got one for about $10.
