Im looking to do the fuel filter, however there is a skidplate around it, and it looks like its quite well rusted in place. Any recomendations?

The fuel filter (directly under the driver's door) is only held in place with two nuts.. Spray them with PB Blaster or other penetrating oil and you should be good to go.. If you haven't already read the Fuel Filter removal post you should. It has lots of info and pics showing how to use the fuel line disconnect tool for removing the lines ect..

I did the same thing last weekend, a word of advise before you start, if you have had the radius arm crossmember removed where they replaced the rivets with bolts, the inside nut is probably going to pin the edge of the skid plate down, mine did. So you will probably have to take that off, which can be a pain since its behind the filter.
