Sooooooo I got engine all back together and im relieved to say that the 302 code was the fuel injector. It runs awesome now BUT I thought I heard some ticks like from air. So I had the truck running for like 20mins and moved it back n forth and runs awesome. Happy I found the problem and fixed it now runs awesome. But the problem is when I shut it off I heard a hissing and was like wtf! That small tick I guess was from the injector in back I see tiny amounts of gas on top of manifold and hissed for like 5mins. It was like 10 drops of gas that escaped on to manifold. Has anyone had this problem when putting the injectors in. I even put a extra pound of torque on the torque wrench.

Let me guess also, I will have to buy another $30 gasket kit and take it all back apart and try again?

Curiously I had the same P0302 code that turned out
to be the injector. This was after sitting for a few weeks
while other work was done on the vehicle.

When I replaced the injectors, I used a technical grease
to install the injector O-rings. If the O-rings aren't lubed,
it's possible that they might be nicked or cut, allowing
a fuel leak to occur.

Any fuel leak is serious. I'd probably take it apart again
and check the O-rings on that particular injector that's
leaking and replace it. I'd also replace the gaskets
to keep from having to do the job again. Extra torque
really isn't needed since the O-rings do the sealing and
not the pressure against the injectors.

Too bad those O-rings are so dang hard to access...:(

I couldn't guess also if it was leaking from the top of injector or spraying out bottom of injector. Also I noticed the orings on the purchased injector must be tiny bit bigger because it was harder to push in top and bottom of the new injector compared to the orings I got and installed on old injectors. New injector was blue orings new orings were black

It's most likely leaking from the top O-ring, since
that's where the pressure is. My new O-rings were
also a different color, IIRC they were a light orange.

If you apply grease to them, they'll easily pop right
in. Dielectric grease or caliper slide grease will work
in a pinch...

Well, I tore it all apart went to store to get new injector orings and gaskets and put it all back together. Did that all in 3hrs. lol. The injector leaked from the bottom that's why it ticked. The brand new orings I put on when I took it apart about half of them where shredded and Torn! One was holding together by a shred. I couldn't believe it! So I took them back got refund and bought others. Everything seems to run fine now.

Nice to have all that power back. Just drove it around about 20mins hoping I don't get pulled over for expired inspection. Runs great, lots of torque, shifted nice. I probably have to redo all the brakes because they're not quite right and don't know if will pass inspection. 1 license plate light out also
