Hi all
My 97 explorer 4.0 sohc has a smell of gas but i can't find a leak that hits the ground by the tank or anywhere else. After i had looked at the fuel line under the hood i noticed that the braided line was wet to the touch but wasn't dripping. The smell in the cabin worsens when the heat is turned on. also my gas mileage has dropped substantially. A friend had suggested that it may be the canister purge solenoid. Can anyone help me with this i need to know more about the canister purge solenoid and the proper procedure in replacing the fuel line. I would greatly appeciate any help and tips on this.
