I have a 98 XLT with the SOHC engine. I've been getting really horrible mileage lately. I've cleaned the MAF, replaced air filter, and the spark plugs are new. I'm thinking I may have a problem with the FPR, though the quality of my idle hasn't declined. I have lost some power though.
At any rate, I have searched at end and can't find a thread that tells or shows the location of the FPR on the SOHC engine. Before I go buy a fuel pressure guage, I want to pull the vacuum line and see if I smell gas. Can someone help me out?
