Hi all,
I have an old ex which was not started in a while, and still is not starting up, so I'm gonna start checking out the fuel delivery:
Can someone please tell me where the fuel pipe which delivers fuel to injector is located?
Thanks in advance

fuel rail is on the intake manifold. There are fuel lines attached to it, one is a return, one is a supply. If you are looking for a schraeder valve to check fuel pressure from, that is on the fuel rail on the passenger side.

This being a export vehicle We better stipulate the fuel pressure regulator, and shraeder valve are on the right side of engine. ( left side of engine if viewing from front of vehicle)

Yes thank you.

I'm also having fuel issues. I had a pin hole in the fuel supply line. So I need a new fuel supply line from the filter to fuel rail under the intake plenum. I had to cut the old one out and would like to make a hose instead of the hose-tube-hose combo that was in it. Where can I get a hose made with the fittings that were on the old assembly? Going to cut the crimps off of the old hose and see if I can get the local engine shop to make up a hose tomorrow, other than that I'm up for any solutions!

Thank you!

ok , i want to get the fuel from some other location other than the fuel tank. is that possible? to connect a new hose which goes from some kind of place and is it necessary to support it, or not?

You can buy a new fuel line, or you can get fuel hose from the parts store, get fittings, and crimp the fittings on the hose yourself if you have a hose crimping tool.

So.... where do you want to get fuel from? If you are talking about putting in a reserve tank or anything like that..... you will need to put some type of switch block on your fuel lines that you can plumb your reserve tank into. Since this is a return style system, you will need to have the valve on both lines. If you are trying to replace the stock fuel system, the fuel lines attached to the injector rail connect to hard lines near the frame underneath and behind the power steering pump on the left(right if viewed from front) side of the engine bay.

On whatever supply tank you use, you will need to have a fuel pump, a stock one would work, or you could go larger and use something like a walbro pump.

Still note, it is illegal to operate your vehicle on the road if it is getting the gas out of anything other than a properly designed gas tank that the DOT or NHTSA has approved for use on a vehicle. ALSO said fuel tank needs to be mounted securely.

I don't know if I am properly interpreting what you are asking, but hopefully this helps.

yes, FIND, you understood it right, thanks to everyone
