I bought a new relay at advance auto and Installed it. (It had 5 pins, where the original had 4- the extra pin went into and area of the plug with no wire attached).
After re-attaching the battery and attempting to start - no luck. It appears the relay is not the problem.
I then crawled under the rear, pulled the plug that goes to the fuel tank off the frame and pushed and pulled the connection. The connection seemed tight. I then went to try to start it and it fired right up.
I am beginning to think there is a poor connection at the plug. I will investigate it further when I have a better working environment.
