fuel pump

i have 2003 explorer all of sudden i didnt want to start been having a floating gas had for years
so not sure if its the fuel pump or not it just trying to turn over but no start

is it a 03 explorer or 03 explorer sport / sport trac?

I assume the SOHC 4.0 engine
there should be a fuel pressure test port on the passenger side fuel rail, towards the back
You can also check that the fuel pump relay is clicking when the key is turned for the first time and you can listen for a fuel pump to run
