Fuel Question.

So for the last month my 02 explorer under hard acceleration just falls on its face and basically slows down.

I just changed the fuel filter tonight and it made no difference.

Their is no codes or lights on,

Sound like a fuel pump issue>?

If so is their a how to on this site for the interior pump access without dropping the tank>?

I saw one a while back but dont remember exactly where... However, It would be a lot more simple, and correct, and cheaper, to just rent a fuel pressure tester and check it at the fuel rail up top before cutting into the truck and spending money on a pump you may not need.
