What is the best way to remove the fuel supply and return lines from Regulator? fuel rail? I need to change out the manifold gasket. I want to leave the injectors and fuel rail on the manifold. The truck is a 1999 Ford Explorer 2 door Sport 4.0 V6 OHV

I believe the 99 has just a fuel supply line, that connects
to the fuel damper. I left mine connected, and changed out
the gaskets and injectors by turning the fuel rail upside
down (with the fuel line connected).

You need to remove the upper plenum first to access the
fuel rail nut/bolt, it won't come off as an assembly.

You can however, remove the lower manifold and fuel rail
with injectors, as an assembly. The manifold bolts will be
apparent after removing the plenum (plastic upper manifold).
