Anyone have one of these?

I am trying to find out which wires I need to splice together in order to get the rear speakers to work again with no console in place. Thanks.

That's a great question.

If no one has it you might have to go purchase a Haynes or Chilton manual from an auto parts store. In my area I think they go for around $12 a pop. Only problem you might find is that they often cover a broad range of years and wire color may have changed. That's the problem I had with my Mustang but if you can get to the speakers and remove them you can see what color wires go to each speaker,

I didn't think this sort of info would be in there. I have both manuals in the garage.

Neither of them have it (that I can understand :p ). Doesn't this info come on those CDs everyone has??

How about just pluging the control piece back in an stuff it behind the dash or something?

wouldnt the wire colors be the same as they are in the small black plug that goes into the hu if so i have a wirring diagram just for the speaker wires.....But it mite change colors when it goes to the amp
well here it is anyway

scrool down it has the diagram under 97 no cd player that is what i used for my "premium no cd player"

SkanlaxJMO thanks so much for posting those charts, I used them to wire up the head unit in my 96 truck the previous owner removed the factory plugs and the information I had for the 96 model year (paid for) was WRONG.

I also bypassed the factory amp so I am running on true deck power. the speaker wires coming in and going out were the same colors as on your 97 premium sound charts, and the same color as they came from the deck, so I assume when they go through the console they do not change colors??

Good info, I may need something like that to bypass my 99 stock sub, amp, etc. Each console had a different harness, not a standard harness. Regards,
