Hi all
On my way to work this morning travelling along and all of a sudden the engine cuts out.
pulls over and the imobilizer is not working and the fuel pump,fuse number 3 20amp under bonnet has blown.replace fuse drive 500 yards and blows again, Put 30 amp in and that blows aswell.
Anyone help with this prob please.

Well unless you tell us what kind of truck you have, its going to be pretty tough as fuse setups are different across the model years.
 












hmmmm.... fuse 3 might not be correct... at least on my "lookup".... how about fuse 4 which should be a 20amp (fuse 3 is a 50 amp for your air ride). does your horn work? without starting, key in "ON"... does the fuse blow (and does your horn work???)
 






Press the key fob to turn the imobilizer off, Then turn the iginition on and the fuse blows, The fuse in question feeds the imobilizer and the fuel pump.
Maxi fuse no.3 yellow 20 amp in the engine compartment, this is in the drivers handbook.
 






I suspect from your "accent", you ain't in N.A. which probably means that my reference info isn't going to help much as it appears to different even though it is 96 based. Hopefully, some one else will jump in.
