my car was barely running,i replaced the fuel filter, plugs ran injector cleaner through, finally changed the MAF sensor . It ran good for about 10 miles on the freeway but on the way back it didnt have any power unless i floored it, and started back fireing, when i got home a friend checked the oil and said it was way over full but then noticed it had fuel in the oil ???????????

Most likely the fuel pressure regulator is bad. If the FPR diaphram ruptured it will suck fuel through the vacuum line into the intake.

I've no experience with this, but could a stuck open injector cause this also? Seems to me if one is stuck open, fuel could siphon into the cylinder, then run past the rings into the oil.

I am willing to bet it's the FPR over one sticky injector. If one injector was stuck open I doubt it would cause his oil level to raise to the point it was noticable.

Fuel injectors rarely stick open. Check your fuel pressure. You should see no more than about 45 PSI at the connector on the fuel rail. The regulator going bad is fairly common.

BTW, change your oil soon, gasoline will break down the oil and running the engine that way could cause really bad things to happen in the bearings and other oil requiring parts.

Thank you all very much !! I have changed the oil again......And put it in the shop.........Maybe they will fix it,
