Hey, thanks to those who have offered help in the past! I am trying to figure out why my fuel gauge and engine temp gauges aren't registering. One weird thing, my fuel gauge pegs when I disconnect the sending unit lead (I don't even ground it) and doesn't register whenever the leadds are connected. I attempted to ground the leads to peg the gauges, but that didn't work. I then tried to ground my oil gauge (which I know works) and that didn't register anything either. Most of the time I tried grounding the leads to the frame rail. Any suggestions as to where to ground them to get a reading or as to what might be causing this? ? I have also tried using a 6v/12v test light, but got nothing from that as well.

Thanks,

Phil :redexp:

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the fuel guage in the X works backwords. To peg it you remove the ground, to get it to go to empty you have to add 12V to it.
