This is not critical because everything works, but I just noticed this yesterday and I am perplexed how it could have happened.
When it is in Park, the indicator is halfway between the P & R and so on down the line. I have no clue how this could have happened. Is there something on the linkage that may have slipped?
A little history is that I have a 99 XLT and last year we had to have the tranny replaced with a rebuild because Reverse went out completely. I have 105,000 miles on it now. Any help will be appreciated, thanks!
