Just a suggestion: Before you plug back into the resistor bank, put some 'bulb grease' or similar electrical lubricant (don't use the black or brown stuff, just the clear grease) on the electrical connections first. This area tends to get corrosion and the grease helps keep it away.
The relay is in the fuse box under the hood. It's one of the square things (there are about 4, I think) and they are all the same, so you could swap it with another one to test the blower, but you will need the other ones in place in order to drive the truck, so swapping them would just be to check for blower operation.
