I'm torn between the General Grabber AT and the Kumho Road Venture KL78. WHile they have rather different lug patterns they are well matched tires. I've done alot of research and they both have decent reviews. So I'm going to base my decision on the opinions of the lovely people on this forum. SO dish it out, what do you guys think?

I'm also REALLY interested in seeing both of these tires on an Explorer to get an idea of what they will look like. THANKS in advance :D

If you do opt for the Generals, make sure to price them on Treadepot. They have $9 shipping on them

Just checked them out, they have good prices thanks for the heads up. They actually have the Kumho's too. Anybody got any pics of these things mounted up

I've got Kuhmo's on my X...

Yours are the MT though, not the AT, right?

Yep...and I'm quite happy with them. Kuhmo seems to make a pretty good tire.

Anyone have a shot of the General Grabber's mounted up? They have a good shipping deal at treadepot so I'm leaning towards those.

have heard good things about the general grabbers and they kinda look like a set of BFG A/Ts

I like my Kumho M/Ts had them about a year hasn't let me down.

I wanna stay with an a/t to keep my mileage up a bit and also better road manners, less noise ect. I don't take my ex offroad all that much

my friend has a pair of those kumho's on his cherokee...they wear like iron and i was very impressed with their performance on the trail...thumbs up for the kumho's...
