Strictly off road or on/off road? If on/off road I say BF Goodrich A/T

well u now teanagers i go out and play alot as long as there are not to loud on the highy way

and what about the mud terains and what about soem other tires like tha ton ebay like the sidewinder

Bfg At Ko

Ihave had my bfg at/ko for about a month and they are great. I haven't taken them off road yet but they are quiet on the road and have really nice traction dry or wet. btw I have been known to be a very aggressive driver at times and these tires handle very well.

what size and is there any wall mart haters in here

I have a 91 with 2" lift and 31s are just perfect. I've had Perrelii sp? Scorpion, BFG AT ko, Goodyear Wrangler rts, and Goodyear Wrangler AT. I do alot of difficult offroading on rocks, loose, and hardpacked dirt and couldn't tell much difference in any of the tires. On the street, wet, dry, or snow covered, the clear and easy winner by far was the Scorpions. They are very capable offroad and untouchable on the street, and cheaper too. ;)

where should i get them from wallmart or what or ebay

remember you also have to get them mounted and ballanced. so buying localy the shop usually discounts that part. otherwise they may charge you up to 65$ a tire.

but will walmart put on biger tires then stock

Take the wheels off, and take them to wally world by themselves. If they ask, they came off your Ranger.

y does that make dif what vehicle they come off of

Because Explorers have been known to roll over and stores like Wal-Mart are very cautious about putting on oversized tires, for liability reasons. I didn't have any problem though. I got 31x10.5" Liberators put on w/o a problem at Wally World.
