i had noticed a increase in stopping distance just didnt think nothing of it until i heard how it sounds. its bad, so i need to get this going asap. if u guys recomend something else lemme know please. if possible anything under $200 cause thats all i have left of my paycheck after paying my remaining ballance for rent.

They will crack. A buddy got ones from the same company for his jeep. I would just get OEM disks if you need them if not just get them resurfaced. Also they claim to be military spec by having silver on it.....The military does not have silver plating on hummer or LMTV vehicles disk brakes.

does anyone have a link so i can order some new rotors and brake pads? i dont wanna go with just oem unless you guys think thats my best choice.

and i dont do any offroading so dunno if that matters in deciding what to get

anyone? what kind of brake setup do you guys have? suggestions? anything?

I haven't tried them personally but I have seen good reviews on here numerous times for PowerSlot Rotors and Hawk brake pads...

there good but a bit pricey as i only have so much money to spare right now. anyone else have any suggestions?

Rather than going with some ebay special or other inferior product, I would wait until I had the money for the real deal.

Good luck ....

i agree as brakes arnt something i want breaking on me, its just i need them like as of yesterday. i may just be going with oem right now cause outside of ebay thats all i can afford right now it seems.

my brake pads and rotors are toast so i need em changed asap

Al and the others can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the majority of the braking force comes from the front axle.

You could replace that axle's brakes first in the mean time. But, especially since money is tight, you don't want to waste it on crap likely made in China that you'll at best replace much sooner and at worst, have them fail at a very bad time.

I just looked up for my 2000 Sport and Powerslot rotors and Hawk pads are going to run you around $460 shipped.

yeah i guess i know where my tax rebate is going, still havnt replaced them but since im on light duty at work right now hopefully i should be fine seing as im only driving a day or two out of the week right now. i have a strained arch tendon so until it heals i wont be doing much. thanks guys for the help. guess i will be going with the powerslots. now waiting game for my tax rebate

does anyone have a how to on doing the emergency brake? i saw one but it didnt have any pics if i can remember right. also Al, i would still be able to use the emergency brakes right if i change to the powerslots? im asking cause if im changing the rotors and pads i might as well change everything while i can
