Got me some tires!

I got these yesterday night, from a local guy I found in Craigslist, he got them then decided to go bigger, so never installed them, 350 for all 4 brand new, I'm going to the shop after work to get them mounted and balanced

Tirerack has these at $141 each, on the reviews people didn't like how they handled in snow, but we don't get snow here, so no problem for me

nice find. Are they bigger that the tires you got on your explorer currently?

Yup, forgot to add the size, I have 245 75R16, these are 265 75R16 so ~2in bigger.

Biggest I can fit without a lift according to what I've read here

I got them mounted/balanced on Saturday, the front right one rubs a little, I'll have to check the plastic to see what I need to move/trim/whatever other than that they're great so far.
One thing I noticed is that I didn't get any lift, my old tires were 235/70R16 and on my GF's sister's truck she has 245/70R16 and it looked a bit taller than mine, I tought it was due to her's having bigger tires...I'll need to park next to her to check on that :

hmm yeah if the tires are 2" taller than your other ones it should have raised your truck 1"

That's what I figured, too bad I forgot to take measures before what I did once I was at the shop, I stood up next to the wheel well (still with the old tires) and drew a line in my pant's leg LOL then when it was done, before it was moved, I stood in the same spot and the line matched almost exactly
