- BroncoII 88 4x4
Hey guys.
I have an 88 bII 2.9 5spd 4x4 no options just bare bones.
So i put in a 94 m50d 5spd and its been a headache.
Q.1 Where does your clutch engage in realtion to pedal hight, mine engages pretty much at the top,i think it should be about halfway.
Q.2 When the tranny is in neutral the truck idles normally, but when i shift into gear the idle speed revs up to about 2000rpm.
I wonder if my wires to the neutral switch on the tranny are reversed?
Also i have yet to hookup the clutch pedal switch.I am still using the pedal bypass from the auto.
Q.3 As far as i have found the m5od takes atf fluid 3 liters.
Is this correct? The tranny seems kinda noisy like it's not the right fluid.
But it is used and was used well i know that much.LOL
Any thoughts and ideas would be appreciated!
thanks
roger
