Got started on herc'in my rockers and fenders (pic)

Its mostly done, here's how it looks so far. I planon cutting off the lil rectangle of metal that hangs down between the rear bumper and rear tire.

Good idea...I've always had trouble getting my 4.0 w/ 3.27s to keep the front wheels on the ground!!! :p :D

it looks purdy. im thinking of doin that alomng the lower porsion of the doors...i have some rust on the rear paasenger door. a little bit, but nonethe less its rust.

hehe. the more of those i see the more i think i want one. thay can be picked up cheap when they are retired from the military.

but then again, i love my sploder, so i dunno. but they are pretty cool.

not sure, but its like, a couple grand. not too bad considering these things cost like 50k in the civillian world
 












thanks guys. it does look soooooo much better. i cant wait to get some thin masking tape and finsih it up,
 






was there any prep work you had to do or does this stuff bond to the surface no matter what it is.
 






i scuffed it up with a strip wheel for my drill. othe rthan that it bonds pretty good, but i've notcied if you sit there and scratch at it you can peel it off, but its a pain. though that was the day after i did it so it may have cured better by now
 






just don't get that stuff on your hootus! hahaha i enjoyed that thread
 






i got it all over my hands and someon my arms. and that was days ago. some of it is STILL on :(

Looks damn good. I agree about cutting off the front bumper piece, but I think you should just hack it up like FROADER has his done. :thumbsup:
