Gotta a tailpipe question...

Hey guys I bought a Flowmaster 40 DF for my 03 Sport (2dr) but have a question about the tailpipe. The muffler is a 2.25 in/ 2.25 out and the shop that will install it will do it for $50. My question is, is there anything wrong with reusing the stock tailpipe or is this a major mistake, im honostly not going for looks here so if a new tailpipe is strictly cosmetic than im more than happy to forget it. Ive tried searching so sorry if the answer is right under my nose. Thanks!

nothing wrong with reusing the stock pipe as long as its in good shape and doesn't fall apart while they are removing the old muffler.

Thanks man I appreciate it, its an 03 so the tailpipe is like new and I live in south florida so rust is not a problem here (ie: no salt on the roads")

yea, i used my stock one for a long time. the 40 series is shorter than the stock muffler so they might have to add some pipe or something but it shouldnt be a big issue for them. good luck!
