Grille Guards; Interchangeable? Explorer - Mountaineer

I am looking into an Aries 3047 model Grille guard on Amazon for cheap but I first want to make sure all the mounting points are the same for 99-01 Explorers to 99-01 Mountaineers. Can someone confirm? Thanks for your time.

The mounting points are the same but the Mountaineers bumper is different. Not to say it can't be done. The difference is that the Explorer lower bumper valance is smaller and can come off, and conversely the Mounty valance is bigger and is one piece with the bumper. However it is plastic and can be trimmed if it is in the way.
