Ok backing plates and still EVERYTHING looks ok. Except I found this, hopefully you can see it.

That's on the inside of my drum. I cleaned with brake cleaner, wire brush and even tried to touch it with a pick. It's not grooves and a pick doesn't get Hung up on it at all almost like its just discolored. Could this be internal cracks? I'm stumped.
 






Weird, looks like the shoe stuck to the drum. Would it be within spec if you had a skim taken off it?
 






Ok havent updated here cause I never found the problem........however, I just put new tires on and it seems to have disappeared? Wierd cause it was definitely a metal on metal grind..oh well hopefully it will stay gone.
 






Maybe you will see something when you have it apart to install the e-locker! Very nice indeed...
