hi all hows everyone doing? iv had a dyno run today and with me other lads (escort & st170), and i thought i didnt do too bad 176.9 hp on the 1st run then second 173hp and 3rd 169hp, it appears from what the expert was saying it has a fueling issue when it passes 4650 rpm it drops off hugly to 6000rpm at 125hp. the only thing at the moment it could be is the gas emulator thats used to trick the ecu that the injecters are firing when it has switched over to gas, as this gadet is hard wired into the injectors and not using the ford injector loom, so ill have to get one of them soon.

Curious as to how much the Dyno run was ?

its 35 quid for a group (me plus 2 cars) or 50 quid for 3 runs.

cheers for the info, id be up for running mine if anyone else around Surrey want to go up there onse Saturday, H you up for it ?

Si

and on further note i had to dissconnect the transfer box power supply as the 4x4 auto traction was kicking in and activating the dyno saftey shutdown, so the run will be rear wheel only.

done any mods to the motor ?

mods are 10mm ht leads/screamin coil pack/75mm throttle body/ left bank racing header (the right side cant fit due to the steering column clearence), metal induction cone/ empty catalytic converters and topspeed restricter removed by sniper tuning product. right now theres a fueling issue between 4650 to 6000rpm and only outputs at 125hp

75mm & decat

Did you happen to determine the performance increase in going to the 75mm throttle body? Do you have the stock upper intake plenum? If so, do you have a tapered adapter to transition from the 75mm throttle body outlet to the 65mm intake plenum inlet?

Did you determine the performance increase in replacing your stock exhaust manifold with racing headers? I've heard that headers provide minimal improvement over the stock manifolds.

I've read that you will get better exhaust flow with a pipe in your empty cat rather than an open chamber.

for the bolt ons iv not determend if they have worked as this was the first dyno run iv done and the specialist has pointed out to me iv a fuelling problem between 4650 an 6000 rpm which shows in the graph my hp drops to low as 125hp. iv asked for a replacement injecter loom from the breakers as a gas (LPG) emulater is hard wired into the injecters.
