I can't find anything that says that particular model of tire is Alpine rated.

However, the Alpine rating isn't the end-all for winter performance when it comes to truck/SUV tires:

If you must have the snowflake-on-the-mountain symbol on the tires, you can get winter-specific tires, or there are a few models of All-Terrains in other brands that have it.

Not sure what kind of driving you do. I'm using my explorer for street use. I picked up a set of Nokian WRG2 SUV tires 265/65R17 from Kal Tire. I usually have a second set of winter tires for all my vehicles mounted on seperate wheels. This time I thought I'd try these and i'm impressed with the snow/ice and summer performance. They are wearing very good also. Its nice to have one set of tires for truely all 4 seasons.

"Our “All-Weather Plus” Nokian WRG2 and Nokian WRG2 SUV offer the best performance in every season. These tires include the “severe service emblem” indicating that they are highly effective in winter driving conditions. But unlike other winter tires, they do not need to be removed during the summer. Drivers in areas that experience winter can now have one set of tires that will work for all seasons."
