Need a little more info than that, is it cranking forever and not starting or is cranking slowly, etc?

Couple ideas:

(1) have you checked the fuel pressure on these early attemps?

(2) often cleaning the IAC does not do anything; you may need to replace it.

Good luck .....

First without starting, turn the key to on, then off, twice. Does the engine start better when making that third cycle, through start? If so then the fuel pressure is not comming up quick enough, and/or the injectors are leaking down too fast. Good luck,

more info on 95 explorer

truck will start and run , but is very hard to crank and run at first start in the morning . do i possibly have a fuel pump problem or leaking intake manifold gasket
REPLACED
DPFE sensor
fuel filter
new plugs
new wires
new coolant temp. sensor
EGR valve
TPS
FPR
what else could it be please help!!!!!!!!!!!

No I have not checked fuel pressure yet. should I replace IAC even if looks good, also have new reply from previous one.

The 2 temperatue related parts are the engine coolant temperature sensor, and the air charge temperature sensor. I see that you have already replaced the engine coolant temperature sensor. You could either replace, or clean the air charge temperature sensor with throttle body cleaner spray. It's a good idea to clean the mass air flow sensor if you haven't done this yet. You could use contact cleaner. Be careful not to ruin that fragile sense wire inside of it!

How is the battery? You say it's hard to crank in the morning, if the battery isn't providing enough power to crank then it could also not provide enough power to the ignition system until the alternator has had sufficient time to charge it up.

I happen to have an extra Intake Air Temp sensor--
I could leave it laying outside and measure the resistance.

Do you have a multimeter?

You might check the wiring to it---In the intake tube downstream of MAF sensor. It will have a 2 wire plug.

Woke this morning went to truck and it started up fine first try. I dont know I will wait and try tomorrow and see what happens. Thanks for all the feedback

Its the lower intake manifold gasket. You are getting a leak. When you start a cold engine the lower gasket is very constricted and or "drawn up" providing a little room for the air to get in. When the engine warms up, the gasket kinda flexs back out again, plugging the little gap from before. Its not a big gap. Its very small. Justttttt enough to let some air in. Its extremely common and yes....its happened to me. It just messes with the vacum system that the engine needs to regulate the idle. Trust me.....replace the intake manifold gasket......it cost maybe 10 bucks for the gasket.....but a couple three hours in labor in the old garage.
