Out of the 160hp at the crank, what are they putting to the ground? 145ish?

I'm considering in the near future of doing the intake and cat back exhaust, but I'd like to know what a stocker 1st gen is putting down first.

I seen a chip on KKM's site that claims like 16hp or something like that, I have a hard time believing you'd get those results.

is this question in the wrong section?

From reading, stock OHVs usually suffer from somewhere around +/- 20-25% driveline loss, so with a fresh OHV, you are looking at 120-130HP at the wheels.

Of course, most of the OHVs out there are FAR from fresh................

Except for mine with about 50k on the clock ;)

i remember someone saying the dynoed in at 115 hp and 130fp/tq at the rear wheels. That was with a 4x4 so power was lost in the T-case also
