Hi,
I am about to do a tear down for a head gasket on a 1998 Ford Explorer Sport with a 4.0L OHV motor. Does the old 1991 to 1995 manual still apply? Has anything changed? Would it be best to just go grab the new manual which states 1991 to 2001 ? I ask because I have the old manual from an old explorer I had.
I know the motors were virtually identical but I did hear a few things changed. If anyone could shed some light would be much appreciated!
