HD Radio

Hey, just heard something about my favorite station broadcasting in HD radio. It's supposed to be CD-quality sound, I guess a free-version of satellite-radio. The only units I've seen that are HD-ready are Kenwood, has anyone listened to HD radio? This August will be the Alpine release.

In all seriousness, I've heard it, I wasn't that impressed. Most any unit capable of HD radio is also an MP3 player, meaning you can put whatever commercial free music YOU want on a CD.

Yeah, but I like listening for new music and I listen to some shows (Howard Stern, Tom Leykis). This fall all brands should probably have HD anyways, Alpine's all that matters to me though. Hope they don't keep that Glidepad or at least fix it.
