HD radio??

Is the stock non-Sony radio HD? Every once in a while when I start the EX, it flashed the HD symbol on the lower left radio bar, but I can never seem to tune to anything HD.... What am I missing?

i've been told the 2011 explorer XLT non sony radio doesnt have HD radio. Been trying to figure out how to get it though....

Interesting, maybe that "HD" icon on the MFT is meant for the Sony radio. Wonder what is causing it to illuminate if I don't have HD.
