Head Unit Removal

aright, i purchased the two little metal U shaped bars to pull out the stock radio, but i cant figure out how to work them
i stick them in and pull and the bars just come back out, not pulling the head unit

When you are pulling them out spread them outwards that should work.

You're gonna have to tug a little too. For some reason Ford thinks that those stereos should never come out.

Mine slid out really easy!

the spring clips might be broken. mine were so i had to pry it out w/ a huge flathead screwdriver.
