Hey guys whats up. I currently have an Eclipse CD head unit which i am probably going to put up for sale shortly. I want to get a new head unit but i'm not sure which is the best place to purchase one. I have checked out crutchfield, prices dont seem to be too bad, but I was wondering if you guys know any others places that I can check out. Thanks again.

Good deals!

Seems like this site has great prices and I have heard they have very good service.

One thing I noticed about http://www.crutchfield.com is sometimes they have head units you can't find anywhere else. When I bought mine last year (Panasonic CQ-DF88), Crutchfield was the only place I could find it, and that is the one I wanted! They are a little pricey, but they give you EVERYTHING you need to install it yourself!

Very cheap and fast. Crutchfield is kind of a rip off if you ask me.

Do these guys have better prices if you call them? Most of the stuff I see on there is more expensive then Crutchfield. I am sorta looking at parts and peices right now and want the best price I can get.

speakers-shop around, head unit- go crutchfield...

You can most likely beat crutchfield's regular prices on speakers but do breeze through their sale items.
For a head unit, I think crutchfield is the way to go. They include ALL the adapter harnesses, cover plates, etc. for installing the unit. And Explorers do require a special harness that will cost $$$ extra at other places. All included along with excellent instructions at http://www.crutchfield.com .
And, if you use my Customer # (13050050) as a referral for new customers, you'll get $25 off your first purchase of $250 or more (that's 10% off).
Take a look, even if you don't buy there, crutchfield has great info on specs, etc...

tms

I didn't see anything special at tms. The prices were about the same as http://www.sounddomain.com ,sound domain DEFINETLY has better prices than http://www.crutchfield.com on most items. You'll probably find items cheaper at different places. What I do is usually look for what I want, then get it at the lowest price I can. That may cause me to buy from different places...I don't just buy from one place...whoever has the best stuff/prices for me!

Thanks for all the help guys. I appreciate it. Thanks again.

There was another place my friend ordered his deck off of. It was $40 cheaper than crutchfield. I'll try to find him tomorrow and ask him what it was.

I would also look around your neighborhood. Certine brands and models arn't sold by Crutchfield due to manufactur's reqirments. I know Crutchfield doesn't sell my IVA-C800.
