I use Borla, and there was little or no gain in interior sound levels. They are a pain to install, though!

I have JBA installed, they are located here in San Diego specialiced in fords - great sound and performance all the way up to the redline and if you had to beyond it.

I also say go with the borla headers. I got mine from Carparts.com and they are worth every penny i spent on them.

I would help if you had writen down what year and type of Explorer, also what type of engine you have. This helps others to give you more detailed information. This really depends on the type of engine you have. If you have an SOHC, then the ONLY header made for the SOHC is JBA. If OHV, then you have more to choose from. Hope this helps. Dead Link Removed
