Well, I have given up on Mustang Headers working on my 302 conversion. The MAC shortie headers will not fit, Period end of deal. My fabricator tried everything and they just don't fit. Stock mustang exhaust should fit, were trying some from a salvage yard tomorrow or Thursday.

So for whoever travels this road next...No Mustang Shorty Headers will not fit!

L&L have a sweet set of headers. I have them. Made from i think T-304 stainless. 1/2" or 5/8 header flange about as thick as you can get. But there not cheap.

Were they longtubes or shorties? Did you have any clearance problems with the frame? Any links on where to get cost for those headers. Seems Kaufmans were $400 or so and Advance Adapters were close to the same price.

Which heads are you planning on running?

Heads

They are E6 Heads....93 Mustang block.....Factory intake

Oh, I thought if you were going with the gt40p I think the guy who found some for me actually could have got 2 sets.(ford motorsports-manufactured by a co. Watson Engineering, at least what ford racing told me) Somewhere from Tx is getting shipped here to PA. If someone else looking for gt40p headers on 97+ motors, respond or e-mail me and i will see if there is the other set available.
