Can anyone tell me how much trouble it is to put headers and a dual exhaust system on my 98 4.0?
Thanks in advance for the info,
Gordon

98 4.0L = either pushrod OHV 4.0L or OVerhead cam SOHC 4.0L, big difference.

Expect to pay for 5 hours of labor to have headers installed.
Expect to pay $500+ for headers for your 4.0L.
Not sure if headers are available for the SOHC yet.

True dual exhaust on a V6 is a waste, if it will even run right...
IMO.
You can do a single in, dual out muffler from the cat back and run dual pipes out the back, much better choice.

Headers are not going to do a whole lot for you on the V6 UNLESS you are boosted, or are running all other intake and exhaust mods with a built block. Now if the engine is already out of the truck, it may be worth it. :)

From what I've read for the past two years on this topic, DITTO to everything 410 just said.
