Headers for V8 Explorer Question

Hey guys. I was looking into a new exhaust system for my 4.6L 02 X. So far it seems that JBA is one of the only companies that makes headers for my truck. Now I don't have much exhaust system experience with trucks, so will these add anything to my hp or tq? I know headers don't add that much to the 4.6L mustang, but I am not sure how the exhaust manifolds are different. So what performance gains have you guys gotten from headers? Thanks

In my experience, headers aren't necessary on our trucks unless you have exhaust leaks or are going with forced induction. I put mine on before my supercharger, and lost low end torque. If you say that they don't add much to the 4.6 Mustang, then they probably won't do much for you. Definately not the most cost effective power mod, I'd use your money somewhere else.
