I noticed today that there was a little bit of white on the inside of my oil cap (toping off since it leaks). I see no oil in the water/coolant or vice-versa. From what i know that would be a headgasket. if it is, is there a good product for a temp repair since i have like $2 to my name plus my rent is over due.

Has it been cold up there in Vancouver? Maybe condensation from the cold and then warming up your vehicle? Just a thought. Maybe monitor it for a few weeks, and see how it goes?

Both look good pulled some coolant out with a turkey baster (use what you have right?) and it was still clean and no oil marks. oil looks good too. it has been cold down to 20 and then up to 40 with snow and ice.

Also for the last few days i have only had to drive 2 miles to work when i usually drive 5-10 miles. the truck deosnt even get a chance to heat up all the way.

i donnot lay on the gas hard. i baby my x as she is getting old

mine is the same way, no worries, ps....dont use the turkey baster on turkey anymore :D

a good wash should be good i have tasted pleanty of vehicle fluids in my life and im still here. coolant tastes worst then gas, break fluid, diesel, oil. in that order. IMO
