Recently my headlights have been turning off intermittently while driving. There doesn't seem to be any specific thing that makes them do this. I have replaced the bulbs and the fuses. Any help would be appreciated.

on my 94 i had the headlight switch wire harness burned up and went bad causing my headlights to not always work when i pulled the switch and i'd have to smack it and wiggle it until they worked...and then they liked to shut back off frequently. i'd look into that

I've had that type of issue on 3 vehicles now. The Explorer, Ford Van, and on our old Dodge Neon. On all 3 the problem was fixed by changing the headlight switch.

My neighbors Dodge truck started to do it too a few weeks ago and in his case is was a combination of the headlight switch and the connector to it. Things got hot enough to mess up some of the connectors.
