I'd like to install halos on my '11 XLT and I figured out how to remove the grille but I can't figure out how to remove the bottom portion of the headlight itself.

Suggestions?

The bumper has to come off.

Bumper does not have to come completely off.

Once the grill is removed, remove the bolts along the bottom of the wheel well that secures the black plastic wheel arch (you'll likely need to turn your steering wheel all the way to the right/left as appropriate) to have more room to work. Once the bolts are removed, you only have to pull out the front portion of the wheel arch to access one more bolt that holds the plastic bumper to the metal fender. Then get underneath the bumper and remove three bolts that secure the bumper to something (I forget what).

Once these bolts are removed, you can pull the bumper out a bit to give yourself room to access the bolt(s) needed to remove the headlight. The bumper could eventually be removed, but it is not necessary.
