Headlight Switch Backlight Bulb

Looking for the part # for the Base/Bulb assy that plugs into the back of the headlight switch. I've been through the Ford Illustrated Parts breakdown and it only shows the switch assembly (11654).

Look/search for the LED replacement posts around here they have the part # in them.

I don't think that lamp is available as a replacement. I went to Radio Shack and purchased a small 12 volt lamp w/ leads and improvised. I reused the plastic cap and installed a new lamp. Still works great 3 years later.

Haha, that's actually how I have it set up temporarily. Seems dim and one of the detent bumps on the base is flattened out. Thanks for the info though!!

Jkllamps.com sell stock replacement bulbs.

you have to get a quote for them ( mine was $2.50 each min order of 10) and then had to fax in the order but for ~$32 I have fixed mine and have 9 more for spares.
That should last a wile

No prob, the radio shack bulb seems to work. Hmm, I don't know what's up with the messenger.
