Sweet LEDs man!

How exactly did you go about this project??

Looks good

Looks good! But polish up that passenger side front headlamp lens.. Driver's side looks ok!

That's what I have been trying to do I got one of those lens cleaners to use with a drill and that was the outcome. I tried for a straight 2 hours cleaning. Something melted on my lens and I can't get it off, im about to just get a whole new one.

Thanks, I used VHT Nite Shade paint. I wanted to be different cause you see everybody with blacked out tail lights and head lights. The leds are the cheap kind from Autozone. I have a new way of setting up my leds when the ones im want are in stock. Also plan on adding projectors to my headlights with green Halos, and a purple HIDs. Soon as the snow let's up some (Which I don't see happening anytime soon :() I will complete the first step.

did you put the leds in the actual head light housing or did you set them up in that crack between the head light and grille

The first time I put em between the cracks of the grille and headlight housing. My new setup I put em inside the headlight housing. I believe they look better that way. I can up a pic of it today when I get home.

yea that would be great! i have a 1st gen that i want to try that on, but i think its gonna look alittle weird on mine cause the housing is square ya kno

It wouldn't look bad. Line it up on the corners. Like a backwards L so the lit corners will touch. Here is what I have got done with the new set up. Im almost done with the other side. Gotta seal it and wire it up. I will post pics when im done.

yea that looks really good man im definitely going to give that a shot

Thanks! Just got done installing. Gotta wire it up now.

these are cheap lights from walmart idk if there even waterproof i wanted to do a test run. They're lined between the housing but, I look at the front on my explorer as a face and the lights make it look like it has bags under the lights haha. I think ima try red leds just to go with the color theme on the truck
