Heads-Cam-Headers? 96 5.0

Ive got a stock 96 5.0X. Ive got a buddy that has some GT40 heads and Hooker shorties for me. What other mods would you guys recommend for the most Hp increase.? Cam-Intake-TB-Mas-Chip-Cold air??
Hoping to get decent 1/4 times. :/

P.S-What gears come factory on the 96 5.0? Someone told me they had 273's, but that doesnt sound right at all.. Thanks guys

the Explorer V-8 comes with gt-40 head already. as far as HP increase a good cam would work real nice in your explorer

The rear end gears are most likly to be a 3.73 or 3.55 check the Axle code on your Door and search for the Codes on the Board.

Will some twisted wedge heads fit this block? And if so do they make headers that will fit as well? Thx guys
