When heater is put into defrost airflow, then the heat is not as hot as in panel airflow. Is this normal? I don't have clicking noises in front, though rear AC does click and requires replacing both temperature blend and direction control motors. But this is about front module.
From what I understand there are four modules in front that control direction and temperature blend:
1) 18A318 (YH-1652) HVAC Blend Door Motor; Manual Air Conditioning ; Defrost Airflow, Plenum Chamber
2) 18A318A (YH-1653) HVAC Blend Door Motor; Manual Air Conditioning ; Panel Airflow
3) 18A318A (YH-1654) HVAC Blend Door Motor; Manual Air Conditioning ; Floor Airflow
4) 19E616 (YH-1744) HVAC Blend Door Motor; Manual Air Conditioning
Based on this I assume heater blend door is located prior to direction control motors (by airflow). Then as I don't have issues with panel airflow, then the fact that it doesn't blow as much heat to the windshield is by design? In cold mornings I can see that panel airflow starts to blow hot air earlier than defrost.
