Heater Control Valve

I have a coolant leak in my 97' Exloder. I smell it in the cab and a little bit under the hood. After doing a search on the forum, I'd bet it is the Heater Control Valve. Unfortunately, the HCV is not listed in my Chilton's Ford Manual. Would someone please tell me where that valve is or what page in the manual I can find it??? THANKS

My heater control valve failed last year. It is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment, just before the heater hoses go into the A/C / Heater housing.

Its pretty easy to replace, and cost about $14 from the dealer, maybe less aftermarket.
