Hi guys, Its been pretty cold here lately and I have been noticing that it takes a while to get the inside of the truck warm. I can feel the heating itself is hot but as if the fan is weak and should be blowing more when on max in the vent position

is there any way I can clean the blower motor or what could the issue be?

Likely worn motor with poorly contacting brushes. Turn the fan on and give the motor a smack with a hammer it should pickup speed.

I would help if you had a signature detailing the the Make, Model, Year of the vehicle though.

I will try it, thanks

I am having a similar problem, the rear console vents are working fine the right side vents in the front are working, but the driver side vents are not working the one above the headlight switch is dead and the center left vent above the cd player is dead also the vent that defogs the driver window is dead. I have a 1998 xlt 4.0 sohc what could the problem be?

To Southeast, sounds like you have a vacuum leak somewhere in the system. This would cause the internal dampers in the HVAC system to not open or close fully to redirect airflow to the different vents. Good luck finding it!! I had a similar situation that turned out to be the brake booster leaking, causing loss of vacuum in the entire system (and spongy brakes). In my case, I was getting a small amount of air flow out of the defroster vents regardless of setting on the dash.
