Heater hoses

I cant remember which hose goes on top or bottom. 99 v6 ohv Does the hose from top of the engine go on top of the heater connection or the bottom. Does the hose from the bottom of the engine go on top or bottom of the heater connection. I got them mixed up. I'm not sure if I got them right but by the looks of the way I loosened the clips when I took them off I might of put them on right but I have to make sure. I got my engine back together and will be starting it tomorrow fingers crossed on all the work.

The top connection at the heater valve connects to the water pump, under the alternator. Does that help?

Yes thank you. Now to go look to see if I got it right and start it up after all this work I just did to it
