Hey
My heater blower motor went on me a month ago so I replaced it with a brand new on from ford. Now I only have high speed. no low no middle.
Is this a switch problem or did I get the wrong blower motor?

Take a peek at the Heater fan resistor pack thread in the Heater and A/C forum

The resistor pack steps down the power for all settings other than high. For the high setting the circuit by-passes the resistor pack and sends full power to the fan... The resistors are like the filaments in a 3-way light bulb and will burn/out break over time causing the symptoms you have...

thanks for your help. hopefully thats the problem.

Don't forget to vacuum the leaves and pine needles out while your in there. It'll help prevent that annoying flash fire in your ductwork.

LOL thanks i take it you speak from experience
thanks for the warning

Yeah hes right its 99% the resistor I had to change the one in my EX times.

thanks guy
i change that resister thing and its all back to normal

Thank you I needed this!

I'll get onn it next week

Does anyone have a picture of this? What about a part number? My '91 needs the resistor pack replaced too.
